I know below we mentioned our ad was out back in May, however there was a problem with the printers and I just received our copy. It is out now covering: Corona, Riverside, Norco and surrounding communities. It appears in "Your Community Yellow Pages" Check it out when you can and book mark our two locations in there. This could be helpful in case your internet dies, at least you have the book now. We are listed in both "Ghosts" and "Paranormal Investigators" sections. We are the only one listed in those two categories.

Very soon we will be giving you updates on upcoming investigations. In the meantime feel free to join our message board and chat away.

Just because we haven't posted in awhile doesn't mean we aren't alive and kicking :) Just a lot to take care of in and out of this field.

Our ad has come out in the Riverside "Your Community Yellow Pages" directory. It is the only listing in any yellow page directory for Paranormal that I know of, in Southern California. Again it was done at our cost to make it easier for those of you to find a group like ours to help you in your search.

Saturday night was a return to Sunnyslope cemetery in Beaumont. Cemeteries are always a good place to start when training new members on equipment and weather conditions, and that is what we set out to do.

This particular visit we again ran into typical orb activity of either moisture, dust etc. However, as I explained before, orbs can usually be debunked, unless they are brighter than most and have their own flight pattern. The couple we captured were just that, different from the rest. They are now posted up in our image section. Along with that we captured a colorful ectoplasm, which is listed in the evidence column of Sunnyslope images. Our black and white photos are not developed yet, but when they are we will post them for you.

Some minor updates. We added a few more pictures of the equipment we use here at CPI, they're now uploaded in the "equipment" section. And the message board features are now complete. With chat box/private messaging between users, a calendar section which will list special events, when you registered, etc. and the ads are now removed. We are working on some upcoming investigations and will announce the details soon. Also, we added a new item to our store so check that section.

After some careful consideration, we have decided to go with a more user friendly message board here. If you registered on the old board, you will have to re-register one more time. I think you will find this board much easier to work with and more entertaining. Check it out in the button above, "Board." In the coming weeks, we'll remove the banner ads that appear at the top of the board.

A few updates: We have modified the "image" section for each investigation listed there. You will now see 3 columns, one for "images with evidence" one for "orbs" and one for "staff images." I feel this will make it easier for those of you not wanting to browse through countless orb photo's. Keep in mind as always, even the evidence sections DO NOT indicate a true paranormal event, we just felt these were closer to "possible" evidence over your standard orb event.

Also, kind of humorous, in TAPS aka "Ghost Hunters" season debut tonight, they announced a piece of new equipment they will now be using. The Bushnell's infrared camera/video. We here at CPI have used this since summer of last year. It is a fantastic item.

Coming this year, will be the launching of our services in the community yellow pages. There are currently no listings for groups such as ours. Mainly, most groups don't have the funds to branch out into that market since they/we operate on a "free" basis. However, we here at CPI feel it best to get out there in anyway we can to reach more of you who are need of this type of service. I will inform of you of the exact launch date as it nears. More investigations are coming soon, we are currently gathering case information on each one and will announce them as they occur.

35mm images are now uploaded. I gave you both color and black and white sections as well as evidence. Click on the image section you will now see digital images and below that will show 35mm pictures taken with 400 speed b&w and color film. It is said, your best bet to capture spirit activity will be with either night vision cameras or 35mm film. I want to take a brief moment to talk to those new to investigating. If you see places being discussed on the web of haunted locations... don't assume when you go there that you will get evidence. Spirits do not perform on cue. Patience is the key. Going to a location for an hour won't cut it. You need to be prepared to stay for several hours and come prepared.

Very shortly we will be uploading all our 35mm images. Up until this point all images in the "image" section are from our 7.1 mega pixel camera. 35mm images is just another way to capture (hopefully), what doesn't show up on digital. So check the "image" section from time to time for updates.

What a night we had! We made our final visit to Riverside Cemetery in Riverside, California. We like to make 2-3 trips wherever we investigate and then call it an end. We ran into everything, from ectoplasm, evp, an apparition and more. Most of the activity occurred around the crematories. Everything is uploaded in this site for your viewing/listening. EVP was at the crematory, very odd as we captured what sounds like a heart beat, check the EVP section. Ectoplasm was hovering around a staff member, and only showed up upon blowing the image up after getting cold spots. This and more is up in the image section of Riverside. Apparition! One was of what appeared to be a small child walking between the crematory and a mound of dirt. Note on the apparition: the crematories are dark and very little light is cast upon them. Therefore, no shadows of people could be giving this shadow effect. We tested it several times and debunked 2 apparitions, only one was unexplained. The camera is mounted on a truck some 30 feet away. If and i say IF a person were in a light source that far back, the shadow would be huge, engulfing the entire crematory. But no staff member was around. If a staff member was standing at the crematory, his shadow would be the same height, but as you check these out in the VIDEO section, you will notice no one was around. Check the staff video in that section, you'll see a member walk by without giving off a shadow, thus no light.
Orbs we caught: out of the 46 images taken with our 7.1 mega pixel camera, only 15 had orb activity, and all orbs captured happened in or around the same locations we experienced the apparitions and evp. Check it out.

Due to the fires burning throughout our state we will not be conducting any investigations this weekend. Smoke etc would hamper any investigation, we will resume next weekend. Halloween is another day to us. Many have looked at Halloween as the most haunted day there is. However as experts, paranormal investigators and many others will tell you, this is far from the truth. Halloween is built mostly on folklore and fun. With that being said, have fun and be safe.

We are proud to announce the opening of our new message board here. We mentioned it briefly below, and are now complete with sections that are open for topics and conversation there. Just register and immediately begin to post. The board has a profanity feature installed, and easy to use features.

Return to Prospect Park, Redlands. This second visit had a few surprises. SCPI joined us this night and one of their flashlights, while laying on stage, moved when we tried to communicate with whatever it was that seemed to be present. Along with that, we captured an evp just moments before that incident which is up in this site. Also some staff images and 2 images with evidence. One, was at the roof line of the stage area, a very large, bright orb, which also appeared during our communication moment. Back at the bandstand we captured a bright light streak. You can check this in the "image" section.

With adding this board we felt no need to keep the Guest book or chat box, so i hope this works for you.

I don't normally plug shows, but there are a few good ones out there on the paranormal other than Taps. Recounting actual documented events, check out Discovery Channel every Monday-Friday at 2pm. The show is called "A Haunting" based on true life accounts, actors are replaced to protect the innocent. Most are suspenseful but tell exactly how some entities interact with us. Keep in mind, this program is showing mostly poltergeist events with some spirit activity. Most hauntings are tame in comparison.

A visit to Prospect Park this Saturday night proved to be a wet event. Cloudy, cool and mist which prevented camera or video evidence to show. No evp work was done either due unforeseen circumstances. I have uploaded some staff images for you, and will add any evidence to that section when we go back. Upon leaving and hiking down the hill 2 of our investigators heard giggling/ whispering coming from bushes. (A brief history of this park: Rumors have it, a teenage girl was raped and murdered at the stage within the park and also a few others throughout the years. Some say this park is haunted.) Our two investigators stopped and pulled out the K2 meter which is designed to pick up EMF readings. No electrical sources were anywhere to be found. When our investigators asked a few questions, the meter went berserk. We then asked a series of yes or no questions asking for the spirit to spike the meter with 1 or 2 flashes for each answer. We will definitely head back sometime this month to complete our investigation, so stay tuned!

We made a return to the San Jacinto Cemetery to complete our final investigation on this night. We took 25 pictures with the same 7.1 mega pixel camera, out of the 25 we got back 10 with activity, they are now up in the "image" section now.

First trip to Menifee Valley Memorial Park. It is a smaller cemetery, but we were able to capture some nice images and a couple evp's as well. This is located in Sun City. Our evidence/findings are now up in this site.

***Update to Van Buren story***
Van Buren and Dufferin: Story goes that black blurs can be seen while traveling down this street late at night and children screams from being tortured can be heard.

Update:
The original stories floating the web, indicate the above to be true, and that 2 girls and killer were murdered at this location. We did some checking and found this to be only partially accurate. Here's what we found. Only one girl was murdered in December 2004. Here is the link to the Riverside PD's Bulletin. It is believed by some, her spirit still haunts this location.

We did not see any black blurs nor did we hear screams but that isn't to say they don't exist. Keep in mind spirits are not always predictable. But we did get some nice images which are now up in this site.

Wonderful night here at Mission Inn Hotel in Riverside. Although some areas were not available to us to investigate we did cover 1/2 the hotel where sightings and reportings have taken place, and let me tell you, it's all it's claimed to be. Thanks to SCPI for getting this set up, as we teamed up to cover this huge and beautiful hotel.

The history of this hotel goes back over 100 years. Some of the information can be seen at http://theshadowlands.net/ghost/

But what is shown in that site is only half of what has taken place there over the years. We were able to capture evp's to many images of orbs etc.

One room was being held by a very nice woman who saw us investigating and asked us to check her room. She was seated outside her room at the patio. When we entered, Kim's room did have some sort of activity, images are in this site now.

Check the EVP and IMAGE pages for all our findings.

The hotel goes back to 1900 when CC Miller sold it to his son Frank. Alice, Frank's sister passed away in the late 40's, she was the manager, and it is believed both still haunt this hotel as well as many others who have perished here.

Out on the Spanish patio there are statues which sit near the roof lines. One of them, according to some raises its arms. That statue has been anchored with wires. We captured a very large orb directly over this and the bell tower. Other places, is the spiral staircase, which reports of deaths from falling from this very high and elaborate stairwell. Orbs were found throughout this as well and posted in this site.

Hallways with apparitions reported, we got orbs. Outside rooms 215 etc where activity was reported... you guessed it, orbs.

The catacombs were closed in 1992 and we were unable to investigate this as well as other areas due to weddings taking place at the time of the investigation. Wonderful place, and i hope we can revisit to bring you more soon.
